JUNE RESALE

This sale is always held the 2nd Monday in June from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., from day to day, until the sale is completed. This sale consists of property that has already gone through the October sale. June resale is based on taxes that are delinquent for three or more years and have not been redeemed. This property is auctioned off to the highest bidder for cash or preapproved letter of credit.

Keep in mind, the owner can come in and redeem the property until the deeds are filed in the clerk's office.

The county treasurer's primary function is tax collection. We make every effort to see that tax deeds are issued in accordance with the statutes, but the buyer assumes all responsibility and liability on purchase.
